Questions parents ask
How much space do you need?
A flat area roughly 20 by 20 feet works for a standard backyard setup, with gate access at least 36 inches wide. Smaller pens are possible — just tell us what you have.
Is it safe for toddlers?
Yes. Our animals are handled daily and chosen for calm temperament, a handler stays with them at all times, and we set up a low pen and feeding rules that work for the smallest hands.
What does an event cost?
The event fee is $299 for up to 50 guests or $499 for 50 to 100 guests, and covers two hours — additional hours are $150 each. Each station you add (Small Animal Pen, Learning Station, Alpaca Pen) is $100 for under 50 guests or $200 for 50 to 100. Over 100 guests, give us a call for a custom quote.
What about cleanliness?
We bring a hand-sanitizing station, keep bedding fresh, and remove all waste and bedding when we leave.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks is comfortable. Spring and fall weekends fill up first, so reach out early for those.
What if it rains or gets very hot?
We watch the forecast with you. We bring shade, and in extreme heat we will suggest an earlier or later time slot. If weather makes it unsafe, we reschedule.
Can we feed and hold the animals?
Feeding cups are included, and rabbits and chickens can usually be held with a handler’s help. Alpacas prefer to be petted on the neck and shoulder rather than picked up.
How far do you travel?
About 50 miles from Hemet, across the Inland Empire. Farther out, just ask.
